The Dreaded Doctor’s Office

Something about physicians scare me.  When they examine you, they try to see if something’s wrong, and I always feel that there is.  Thus, I feel that physicians are bearer of bad news.  That’s why I sort of dread going to the doctor, fearing that I’ll leave the building with a new-found awareness of some disease I never knew I had.

Anyway, today, I asserted my maturity by going to a clinic to get my physical exam for a sport in school.  The tennis season starts tomorrow, and I need this in order to practice.  Before I was eighteen, I needed an adult with me to get my physical, but my friends recently told me that I can now go by myself.  And that I did.
