Reduced Cold Capacity

My first pick-up at the airport.  I didn’t get lost on the way, and that made me happy.

It was a nice feeling—anticipating someone’s return at the airport after some time.

OK, one week wasn’t long, but it was still a nice feeling.  Imagine seeing someone for the first time after many years.

Anyway, I’m glad you’re back, kiddo.  Get used to the cold again!

Protest 4 Education

The future of education in New Jersey looks bleak due to the governor’s decisions.

Our district has been affected direly, prompting many students to be vocal about their opinions and feelings.  Because of budget cuts, the future of clubs, electives, and sports seems to be going nowhere.  There’s a possibility that none of them might even exist, which is very depressing for future students of the district.

Thus, some high school students organized a protest.  A group of about twenty gathered in front of this place where the governor was scheduled to visit for some dinner.  We made sure we expressed ourselves through our chants and our signs.

Hopefully, our voices were heard.

The Jersey Shore

Last day with Orion and Lawrence (and John).  Spent a long time at the beach, wading in the cold water and hanging out at this “dock.”

It was a serene end to the weekend.

Off the shore, however, it was quite obscene.  All day, all of us were stuffing our faces.  We had access to an all-you-can-eat buffet for the entire day, and we were there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Needless to say, our stomachs were bursting.

We went home around 9:00 pm, tired, full, and actually yearning to be home.
