The Heart of the Mystery

Posted in Belleville, Home with tags , , on March 30, 2010 by Jeremy

So, here’s the thing, not that anyone’s actually reading this.

The date is May 22, 2010.  The time is 12:02 AM.

Since the end of the project was nearing, I decided to see if the figures were right, i.e. if by the end of the project, I indeed would have 365 posts.  I found a discrepancy where I was basically missing one post.

So then I started panicking.

“What?!  Where is it?!  How is that possible?”

I chose to approach the situation by actually going through all my posts, checking that I didn’t miss any dates.  I started from May, figuring that, if I accidentally missed a post, it would most likely be in this month, since my head has been MIA lately when it came to the project.

Fortunately, I found the mistake in March.  And it is this mischievous post right here that caused the discrepancy.  I have no idea how it happened, but I just didn’t post one for this date.

Well, here it is.

Tihs Ttlie Ndees to Be Cenaeld

Today was pretty hectic.  I was planning on cleaning my room early today, but I felt lazy because of the gloomy weather.  I usually like to clean my room when the sunlight is pouring in through the windows.  So I just played The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass that my friend lent me.  I finally finished.

I could’ve started to clean afterwards, but my family wanted to go job hunting for me, which ultimately became a fail.  We then went to Newark just for the heck of it.  Little did I know that my mom and my sister had some secret motives for going there.  My sister wanted to get some khaki pants, and my mom wanted to buy fish from this market.

Now I expected Newark to look and feel dangerous, but the part of Newark we went to was pretty awesome.  It looked like New York, and I wouldn’t have minded walking around there for half an hour.  That was my first time going there, and I felt so dumb for deciding not to bring my camera.  (My parents initially told me that we were only going job hunting.  I didn’t think I would need the camera for that.)

After we ate lunch, we went back to our area and proceeded to complete a long list of errands.  We were getting off and getting back in the car so many times that I got so irritated by the end of it.

When we got home, I finally began cleaning my room.  I finished, and it felt nice to have a clean room again after a couple of months.

And yes, that is me in my uniform.  I just decided to wear it.

P.S.  Take note of how clean my desk is, and please ignore the spots on the ceiling.

Also, just to update you guys from yesterday, my sister has been complaining about her shoulders today.  It’s been bothering her, so we’re just waiting to bring her to a doctor soon.

My Room Is an Ecosystem

“After you eat, Jeremy, don’t immediately go up to your room,” my dad said.  It’s funny how true this is.  Of course, I’ve been aware of it.  It wasn’t the first time I heard it.  Yes, yes.  I only emerge out of my room to grab some munchies downstairs in the kitchen.  That includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  I can’t help it.  The confines of my room, which contains the sacred computer, is so comfortable.

Anyway, I began one of my summer AP assignments.  The work for AP Biology is quite demanding, and I guess I’m trying to change my lazy ways by starting early, although I can’t say today was very productive.  StumbleUpon isn’t very helpful.  That’s what I get for having only one desk in my room, on which the computer was placed.

Room information:

  • Many populations of organisms, including one human (occasionally, two to three), many species of insects and arthropods, and perhaps an abundance of microscopic organisms.
  • A collection of non-living objects, e.g. a bed, a hamper of dirty clothes, a shelf of books from elementary school, stray water bottles, etc.
  • Temperature: The temperature in the room likes to mimic outside conditions.  Usually, too well.  If it’s cold outside, it’s probably colder in it.  If it’s warm outside, the room’s probably scorching.

P.S. Tomorrow, I hopefully find out whether the other USB drives contain the pictures that are missing from last week.  *crosses fingers*

Pack It Up. Pack Pack It Up

Going to Anaheim early Thursday morning for an FBLA competition.  I started to “pack” by dumping on my bed all the clothes I might wear.  In fact, they’re all still lying there. Procrastination to the max.
